Janne Chuang, O.D. is a Therapeutic Optometrist licensed by the Texas Optometry Board with a passion for exemplary patient care and education.
Dr. Chuang grew up in the suburbs of Houston and completed a B.S. in Human Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of California at San Diego. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston and received specialized training at several community health centers in the greater Boston area, the VA hospital in Fresno, California, and a renowned practice in Beverly Hills.
Having grown up with poor eyesight with a need for glasses in the second grade, Dr. Chuang understands the importance of good vision and is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care and best experience possible. She is passionate about patient education so that patients can be empowered and informed about their eyes and any treatments.
Outside of patient care, Dr. Chuang loves going on adventures with her corgi pup and toyger cat. She also enjoys photography, cooking, and good food.

A lifelong Houstonian, Dr. Kim attended the University of Houston for her undergraduate studies, where she received a bachelor of science, magna cum laude, before going on to earn her doctorate of optometry, with honors, from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2005.

During her optometric studies, Dr. To completed clinical rotations at the Veterans’ Administration Hospitals in both Quantico, Virginia, and San Antonio, Texas, where she received supplemental training in diagnosing and treating diverse medical conditions of the eye.

Dr. To has been with Memorial Eye Center since 2006 and is well known for her thoughtful and compassionate approach to patient care. Dr. To is an aspiring “foodie” who enjoys not only the consumption but also the study and preparation of various foods. She is an avid traveler with a particular fondness for Melbourne, Australia, and loves attending festivals with her husband, daughter, son, and dog, Rusty. Dr. To is an enthusiastic advocate for literacy volunteers of America and has spent many years teaching English as a second language.

Dr. To is available for English, Spanish, and Vietnamese language exams.
